Lean ground beef might not pack the same punch as 80/20 ground beef, but it’s a smart choice for those looking to embrace a healthier lifestyle. However, don’t be afraid of the extra fat it will leave you more satiated and fuller. With its lighter touch, it helps you on the journey to fitting back into those favorite old jeans.

Tips & Tricks
- The best ground meat is one you ground yourself. Ask your butcher to ground a chuck roast for you and watch the flavor difference.
- Find a brand of ground beef you can trust the cheapest is not always the worst and just because it says organic doesn’t mean it’s a quality beef.
- Chopping (breaking up) the ground beef allows it to get crispy, creating pops up flavor with every bite.
- Never drain ground beef! Fat equal flavor and we don’t want to throw it down the sink. As the water evaporates the left behind fat will help make yummy crispy pieces of ground beef.
